Our metals are coated with a clear lacquer topcoat to enhance durability and delay the natural patina process. However, a patina may still form over time—prolonged exposure to moisture can accelerate this process.
As a general rule: Avoid placing hot items on metal surfaces. Clean spills promptly and prevent water from pooling on the surface. For cleaning, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid cleaners containing alcohol or solvents, as they can harm the protective topcoat. Should your metal exhibit considerable wear, seek advice from a professional.
