Immediately wipe up any spills to prevent water from pooling on the surface. Avoid placing hot items directly on it. For dusting, use a soft, dry cloth; microfiber is preferable. For spot cleaning, use a damp cloth; a plain white one is advisable. Refrain from using harsh or abrasive cleaners that can damage protective topcoats.
Being a natural material, wood reacts to variations in temperature and humidity. Extreme changes can lead to cracking in the wood and lifting of lacquers and finishes.
